We are from Rotary club of Coimbatore Saicity and running a women empowerment centre at Agali ,Anaikatti ( Tamil Nadu -Kerala Border) in association with Swami Vivekananda mission. The women empowerment centre is training the tribal women for training in sewing machine for making garments for their own need and for others at cost.We have already provided with 6 motorised sewing machines in 2015-16 and its being used very well and producing good quality nighties and under garments and repair of used garments for the locals.Also, they take up bulk orders from other traders at cheaper cost which earns a reasonable salary for the tribal women in and around Agali.
They require another 10 motorised sewing machines to improve their productivity as the demand increases.The total project cost is around Rs.2,50,000/- .We have enough details to support for the sponsors. Awaiting sponsorship for the machines only.
