Rotary Coimbatore Midtown Artificial Limb Center situated in Kavundampalayam, Coimbatore Tamilnadu, India run by the Rotary Coimbatore Midtown Trust under the aegis of the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Midtown has been manufacturing and donating FREE Artificial Limbs to the Amputees covering whole of Southern India through the PROJECT WALK AGAIN . The Amputation of the Legs are due to various reasons ranging from Diabetic, Accidents, Gangrene, Insect Bite etc. The GIFT of Walking is made possible by the Artificial Limb Center run by the Club Trust , The Mobile Unit travels all over Southern India and reaches the Amputees in their Town to make this Custom Designed Limbs. The Rotary Coimbatore midtown Limb Center operating since 1990 for the past 29 Years has manufactured as of June 2019 a massive 18824 Limbs nearing the 20k mark, creating a huge positive Economical Rehabilitation Impact in the Society.
